He remembers his name vaguely. Natsua Aika. He had a mother, a cat and some friends.
What he didn't remember, he felt fine forgetting. He had little time to waste crying over forgotten memories when he indeed now lived in a foreign land riddled with demons.
The only advantage he had was that he was somewhat familiar with the land and the story, however there was no point in ruling himself better.
After all, a little cat can't exactly weald a nichirin sword.
