Kakashi had a crush on obito for the longest time but he couldn't be with him because obito was dead and kakashi didn't get the chance to tell obito his feelings towards him. Kakashi was the sixth hokage now and was 33 and still single he knew his dad didn't care if he got married or not. But he still had feelings for obito even though obito was dead and a lot of women were always flirting with him. And he knew he was gay and he knew he had no chance of finding someone that was like obito.
