She didn't know her parents, or why she was different than other elves. However one thing she was certain of that she needed to hide, not show her face to anyone.
But of course life rarely follows our wishes.
Gilroval finds herself in the famous Elvenking's Halls after being saved from the hands of orcs. Why was she captured? How did she escaped? Why was she this different?
She was about to find answers to these questions and many more after living a lonely life for centuries.

These events are happening before LoTR and The Hobbit, right after the Necromancer (Sauron) settles in Dol Guldur. (TA 2460) Legolas is 466 years old.
