Shit. Shit. SHIT. >> Faster, Diana.<<, Ariana screamed out of breath. Under the loud thunder of hooves I nearly couldn't hear anything she was saying. >> Arslan is gonna give out if he has to go on like this.<<, I shouted back. I need a plan. Right now.
The Orc lands.
Determinded I gave a quick pull on the harness and Arslan took a quick turn to the right. Every other horse would have stumbled at this sharp half turn. With incredible speed he headed right to the forbidden forrest, the border that was established by mankind and the orcs as a sign of goodwill. Wouldn't I be so out of breath I would scoff at the thought.
Ariana tried to understand where I was suddenly heading. She franticly moved her head then she fixated on my head, she tried following the gaze or better said the slit of my helmet.
>>Diana! Please tell me that you are joking!<<, she shrieked as she finally realised which way I was riding. >>No, I am not. And stop calling me, Diana. I am sorry, but you have to be me for a little more. << She understood. I didn't need to explain any further, we just had to play the roles we were giving by fate a little longer and we could be us. Finally I could be the me I chose to be. We could live on a little farm as sisters.
>> Aries!<<, Ariana shouted in acknowledgement. >>I hope you know what you are doing.<< I didn't answer. I hoped so.
