Unlike the bright future of a technologically advanced life full of peace and prosperity that we have been hoping for, mankind stands on the edge of extinction, as its last act of madness has summoned the evil that is lurking for our souls and lives ..... as well as our flesh.

In the year 2025, humanity has finally fallen into the darkness of its own greedy desires, as evidenced by many political and even military conflicts between the nations of the international powers. The disputes between them had gotten dangerously worse to the point of declaring a nuclear war, for which everyone has paid its price..... even our beloved earth that we once knew.

Today, in the year 2030, the remaining survivors who lived after that war are struggling against a totally worse enemy than our most nightmarish fears. An enemy that was born from the combination of humans' foolishness and their military superiority. This emery has taken most of our lands and changed the world to what it suits it.... Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship.
