Dedethers: Book One

Brad, a fourteen year old human boy, is training to become a Dedether, part of the army whose main job is to protect the kingdom and reigning king. He attends Dedether Academy near his hometown, along with his friend Simon, who is part elf and part human. They are a troublemaking duo, but Salley, also part elf, attempts to keep them in line as much as possible. Whenever Brad hears that his father has been kidnapped by a group of Eblins, he is determined to do everything in his power to bring Mikeel home and help to restore peace to his country of Teroscminia. But then he learns about a secret of the king's, and everything changes...
