Harry Potter has lived a rather unfortunate childhood, filled to the brim with abuse and neglect. Of course, he never thought twice about it. Why would he? He has spent his entire, albeit short, life with the Dursley's. But, one day, Harry's entire perspective on life is flipped upside down once he receives an ominous letter from a man who claims to know his mother and father.
