Prologue- The long haul It's been nearly a year now since I've see Brandon and I'm really starting to worry. It just started to bathe itself as I turn back to my desk and started to type my essay when it hoped on my desk and it looked like it was saying something and then I realized it really was talking. "Hey, take your damn headphones out of your face and listen to me!"I took my headphones out and I just looked at the cat and he started talking again. "The council is asking for your presence in a week to discuss the consequences." "Wait,what council and consequences? Did I do something wrong?" "It's not what you did it's what Brandon did." "Wait, you saw Brandon,where? Is he ok?" "Not for long he's not gonna be if the council gets to him." "What do they need me for I haven't seen or heard from him in months!?" "Well all I can legally tell you is if you don't find him the council will kill him." I stood there in anger and in fear that he did something he promised he wouldn't do and on the other hand this cat is telling me that if I don't fin him that the council will kill him, I wanna know what the hell is going on.
