fall is always a nice time, the warm colors, the cool air, it just always is amazing. But in my town, hah! fall is a horrible time. it's colder than winter, bloodier than a car wreck, and filled with monsters. At school there is a weird kid named Todd West but everyone just calls him "freak" which he is. my older brothers tell me not to bully him but what do they know? they are only a year older than me. rumor has it though, that the freak summoned a new monster out in the woods and we are going to find it.

Haunted School
It's all chill with thrills until the scary stories are based on true incidents! At least all the stories me and my classmates have been sharing do have relevance to reality. But that wouldn't mean my school is haunted! I mean, I did see someone walk pass by me but I couldn't find them when I turned back; and there was definitely no one walking behind me; neither was the door locked in the empty building nor were the students' headcount dropping in thin air. In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us. We never talked about the night we ran in the forest, never spoke afterwards at all really, but now we're going to need each other if we're going to survive what's coming.
