Everybody is born with two things, a print and a power. Everyone.

They are born with a super power that is usually unique and is defined by their two parents, these powers have variable ranges of how powerful they can actually be. One could have the simple power of creating a small light and having a minimal power range whereas another could have the complex power of manipulating chemicals and have an extremely high power range.


To be keep this power ridden society sane, another gift is given at birth. A Mark. A black mark of where that person's soul mate may touch them for the first time. A mark to let you know how you'll find your one and only.

Out in this society, it's very common to see powers being thrown around whereas at the same time someone is having a sweet date with their 📶 other.

But what if one had an ability off the charts that was so powerful no one could stop them and at the same time.....was born without a mark.

But when you kiss your soulmate for the first time, you tattoo glows and shows their name. But this only happens when it is love and love only. (So if you just kiss someone to kiss them then your tattoo won't glow) As for your soulmate dying, your tattoo turns black and shows a small picture of them with their name under. This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence.
