Margo Kemp was murdered by the very man she thought loved her. They had grown up together, and she thought there was no side to him that she didn't know. How very wrong she was.
After months of torture she is granted the sweet release of death, but her torture doesn't end. She now has to move through death as she watches her husband take life after life, hoping that one day he happens to make a mistake and get himself caught.
Ronnie Mathews wasn't a remarkably talented person, but he followed in his father's footsteps and became a construction worker after high school. He had married the woman of his dreams and now owned the house his parents used to live in. Life was going great until Margo threatened to leave him and go off to college. He had snapped.
But, he had gotten his hands dirty, and he wasn't about to give up the feeling of killing somebody so easily.

After my escape, and yet another but brutal last year at the same high school, my school sent me their condolences and made sure to inform my future college of my past. I didn't bother to say goodbye to my "friends" or Preston, my ex. The police allowed me to change things, including changing my name & hair, but other than that, I was still me.
