Like all animals we have our instincts, to fight or flight, well, we usually have a choice on the matter but, how about if this time it was a feeling so raw and gruesome that fight or flight was all you had to survive. Like an animal never leaving its home but, still protecting it with all its might. How about if all you had was the life of an animal? In a cage, caught in a net, get shot and cut up to pieces and sold. How about if life was just that? Life. Life and death the same. With no choice but, to follow your animal instincts. With no choice but to fight or flight. To reproduce or to end. To survive or to not survive. Its the life of an animal. Its his life.

Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN )
(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Half-Breed
Being different biracial was hard enough in this time and age. Try being a half-breed. Ya, that's right. I said it. Half breed. Half human and half alien. I won't go into how I was made, but I can say that I wasn't able to fit in either world. Sure, I had lived in a place counted as home, but I didn't belong. I wasn't like them. I was their weapon, something that could protect the world from the alien race that tried to destroy them. Would I choose to live with the people that I had grown up with and be a weapon?
