The Great Fox Empire was one of the most legendary empires of ancient times. The streets were filled with citizens and royalty with fox-like features who believed the whole empire was protected by a demon fox named Odel. However, as years went on the empire started to flourish and soon what has left a beautiful yet powerful kingdom, was no more. All that was left was a regular town with normal-looking humans trying to live a normal life. Some may have forgotten the past, yet others stayed and believed. One of those people is the Keiko family, who works to protect and keep their traditional shrines and traditions.

One day, during Emi Keiko's daily walk home from school she encountered an attack which left a small fox slightly injured. She came to the rescue as she soon took the fox in her care, but little did she know there was more to the fox than she thought.
