When important files in Clockwork Manor, North Mount City's major center of history and government documents, go missing along with two slaughtered guards being the only evidence in the scene, North Mount's highest-ranking detective thought he had his case file set. But when he was instead given a new case to look into, he is forced to work with small town Cherry Valley's investigator and work to crack a missing person's case. Unbeknownst to them, their case along with the File theft are just two crimes connected in a web leading to the true mastermind.
