In a post-apocalyptic world, humans live in fear of the Outer Lives, an alien species which invaded through a meter which fell to Earth in the year 2057. Every year, an Outer Life chooses a human to return with them to the meter, which is now the Capital in which they dictate the world from. Nora and her family have been sparred from the event know to the humans as 'The Sacrifice'. However, when they can no longer hide behind titles, Nora's world is turned upside down and she must travel to the Meteor with the assistance of Venn, an outcast Outer Life. Along the way, Nora realizes that the Outer Lives have secrets. Secrets that they don't want discovered.

The Abyss of Time
Twenty years after the end of the Cyborg War, the last cyborgs try to hijack a starship on its way to terraform an alien world. They want the new colony to be a cyborg colony in which they will rebuild their strength and practice their way of life. During the fighting, though, the starship is damaged, so that instead of travelling light years across space it ends up a billion years in the future, alongside a planet Earth that is near the end of its life. The cyborgs, momentarily defeated, leave the ship in a captured landing craft and go down to the planet, but before they go they sabotage the ship so that it is no longer able to support life. The crew have no choice but to follow them down to the planet where they have to fight not just the cyborgs but also forms of life a billion years more evolved than humans. Creatures that have grown tough and hardy in an attempt to cope with the increasingly harsh conditions that prevail there. As if things weren't bad enough, there is conflict among the ship's crew as they fight to decide which of them will be in charge and how they will meet the challenges facing them, and even if they survive all this they will still have to deal with the discovery of the ultimate fate that awaits all intelligent life in the universe...Concluída

Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.Concluída

The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it? The Warriors of Aregon--Vol 1
Nora's lived on the island all her life--catching food, doing experiments, keeping what she considers a safe distance away from the Wolf. Then he starts acting weird. Right in the middle of working on figuring out the problem, she falls asleep. Genex wakes up with barely any memory of anything from his 13 years of life. All he knows is that he's got a pet saber-tooth tiger named Fluffy, his mom is dead, and that he's got a girl named Nora in his head (when he's really not supposed to). He woke up to the Aregonian gods, Osires and Zios, telling him about training and his future and staying away from Pantheos, the Aregonian god of the underworld. But everything they tell him to do, Nora says the opposite. Everything they say, Nora hints that they're lying to him. Unsure of what to think, and with Nora continuously telling him to simply "look deeper" and "wait a little longer", Genex decides he needs to find the answer, and he needs to find the answer now. -> This story can also be found in To Be a Writer, but I wanted to publish it seperately as well. :)Concluída
