In a post-apocalyptic world, humans live in fear of the Outer Lives, an alien species which invaded through a meter which fell to Earth in the year 2057. Every year, an Outer Life chooses a human to return with them to the meter, which is now the Capital in which they dictate the world from. Nora and her family have been sparred from the event know to the humans as 'The Sacrifice'. However, when they can no longer hide behind titles, Nora's world is turned upside down and she must travel to the Meteor with the assistance of Venn, an outcast Outer Life. Along the way, Nora realizes that the Outer Lives have secrets. Secrets that they don't want discovered.

The Abyss of Time
Twenty years after the end of the Cyborg War, the last cyborgs try to hijack a starship on its way to terraform an alien world. They want the new colony to be a cyborg colony in which they will rebuild their strength and practice their way of life. Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it!
