In a far off galaxy, there lives a race of people who have a special connection to the fauna around them. Hence the name of the solar system, "Fauna".
Each of the planets has its own species of animal, with its own culture, political views, and so on.
In the middle of the thousands of planets is a school known as "The School In The Middle" or just TSITM for short.
TSITM's main job is simple, teach its students everything about their world and keep peace between all of the people. Another thing that the school is also known for is that EVERYONE above the age of 15 has been there for at least one year of their life, and on the first day at TSITM, they are given a special magic ability.

When Chloe is finally able to go to TSITM, the power that she gets may be to much for her, prophecy. Uncontrollable, vague and dangerous. When her power activates, she learns that her world is in great danger, and not everything is as it seems.
