Emily is a vampire who sucks at her job. She can't get a meal to save her life, both metaphorically and literally. While stumbling back to her appointment, she is caught by her neighbor Madeline, who helps her stay alive and get a meal. Complete dumbassary ensues.

Emily is a good girl, living a peaceful life in a small town, until one faithful night. She's been raped by the son of the town's mayor and his two friends and finds out that she's pregnant, although justice is not on her side and no one seems to believe her, even her family. So she packs her stuff and drives off to wherever the road takes her. When she accidentally arrives to another small town on the other side of the country, she suddenly finds herself surrounded with kind people, that give her a chance to live a normal life. Sapphire pretended to be a normal girl. She had been training to defeat the Dark Followers. It was in her blood. Countless nights after finding the key, she is running from the only Dark Followers left. If was predicted that she would be the one to kill the Followers or be defeated and leave the world to Darkness. Only a few Followers remained. Sebastian. Skyler. Jasper. Angelica. Skyler and Jasper kidnapped her parents and she is left alone to fight Sebastian and Angelica. Then she meets Angel, you're typical rebellious player, but eventually Angel let's down her walls and changes for the better because of Sapphire. Angel is the only one who's able to help Sapphire fullfil her destiny and their feelings for each other grow right when the Followers make their strike. Sapphire starts to realize Angel has a secret that could take a major toll on Sapphire's victory. Or defeat.Concluida

The main character maned Emily had experienced some harsh things in her life and in some way always mess things up for everyone around her but doesn't realize it when it is happening.
