I am a survivor of abuse. I am writing this story to bring awareness to abuse in hopes to help people who are also victims of abuse. I suffered abuse from the time I was a child to the age of 28. I want to help as many people as I possibly can and I also want to heal. Not everyone has similar coping mechanisms and not everyone can find the appropriate outlet to help them in their healing journey but for me, I got lucky because I found my outlet and for me, it is writing. Writing my story and talking about what happened to me has helped me heal in ways I can't even begin to express. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this journey and to all the people who are giving me hate and requesting I remove my book I just want you to know that I will not back down, I will not be manipulated and gaslighted. I am finally standing up for myself and if you do not like what you're reading then maybe you should have thought twice before laying your hands on me and maybe this will make you realize the changes that need to be made for you to become a better person.All Rights Reserved

There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of.
