Clara, a 26 year old hospital nurse, who's whole world turned upside down the night she left her fiancé, and three months later, it happened again.

When a book comes into her possession filled with creatures and monsters, she thinks nothing of it. Clara just assumes it was a hand drawn journal written in a language that was long dead and forgotten. The worn, leather bounded book seemed harmless enough, but that was not the case.

Before she could return it, on a impossibly stormy night, lightning strikes that very book that Clara was holding in her hands. Unleashing creatures that were never before seen in her small southern town.

Now with the help from Jerrik, a warrior who was also expelled from the book, the two must band together to recapture the creatures before everyone in Crystal Falls is doomed a fate for worse beyond death.
