Starting with a kiss at his Aunt's fiftieth birthday, sparks fly, and desire burns. The Prince finds himself in love with his shy employee, who he learns has had a crush on him for years. She's always the one getting into trouble at bars, not being able to hold back her tongue for five seconds. The things that matter in Evee's life: having a good laugh and her career. The children at the hospital were the reason she survived her hangovers four times a week. They always knew how to put a smile on her face, after four cups of coffee that is. When one day, Eveline stumbles upon a world-famous ginger at work, things just don't go as smoothly as usual. Through her black eye, hangover and sarcastic wit, she doesn't seem to recognize one particular prince. What was Ed Sheeran doing at the hospital anyways? ----------------- This is a work of fiction that was written and finished before The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met one another. I choose every aspect of this story because that's what I liked at the time. The similarities are scary and pure coincidence. It freaked me out at the time too (I wrote it first, they decided to live it later- or I was just good at guessing what would happen if H got married). This is a mature story, there's cursing and lemons. English is not my native language. I was 23 when I wrote this, there are some typos. The later chapters are written better and get more detailed. If you want a refresher, there's an index at the end of that book, summarising each chapter and the subsequent one shots too. Despite all the challenges, Harry and Eloise have had their busiest couple of years to date. With new movies, tours, an album, a beauty brand, writing, promotion, and - not least - parenthood, they've had a lot to contend with throughout the pandemic. Working together on one truly iconic project was supposed to help bring them closer, not risk bringing them to breaking point. Trying to balance their professional and personal lives is already hard enough when it's all played out in the public eye, but it proves harder still when the storyline seems to start blurring between the two. Pressure, competition, jealousy, coercion, manipulation, deception, guilt... With such high stakes, it's hard to know who to trust, especially when things turn out to be not quite what they seem. In the eye of the storm, it can be hard to keep a grasp on what's real, and what really matters, after all. Everyone states she looks like her mother-- the late and great Lady Diana Spencer-- but Princess Gwendoline barely even knew her. As a snapshot of her life, in the summer of 2018, many things are changing. She is trying to find her place in the monarchy while trying to find her place in the world. Please Note: This was requested by a reader, and it may be is not what they wanted but this is what happens. I am a cynic after all. (It comes out in the rest of my work as well.) I wrote this in twelve hours, so I know it's not my best work.
