Authors note: At the time of writing, The first and second episodes of the Owl Hose season 3 have released. Should the third and final episode add details that conflict with the story I intend to tell here, I will try to adapt my story to stay relatively canon friendly, but will prioritize telling the story I want to tell if that isn't possible.
