My spin on 6x13, instead of Kai fixing the ascendant, him and Elena go to the prison world to inform Bonnie about Silas' tombstone. On their journey to find Bonnie, Elena starts to notice that there are redeemable parts of Kai and can't help but fall for him. In this story, Bonnie was never going to commit suicide because I felt that kind of downgraded her character and I felt that that was kind of OOC of Julie Plec. This story is Kai x Elena with Damon x Elena undertones.
