"She sinks her nails into her own eyes; the blood pours out in streams, turning into a disgusting, pale-red mixed with saliva, running through the gaps of her hands as she presses them to her face in agony. Helplessly watching her, I can't help but wonder if would be kinder the end her suffering with one quick shot. Once she turned, there would be no way for us to stop her."

Destruction and despair shakes the world of Alina Sokolova when a zombie apocalypse suddenly begins.

Before it began she'd been a normal teenager in a Russian city, enjoying rebellious life with her closest friend and brother: Sofiya and Nikolay. Though the disease spread like wildfire, and before they knew it Anadyr had been overran by zombies that would stop at nothing.

What could have caused it?

These zombies are powerful and strong, and there is only one known way to kill them. A single bite would cause the poor soul to turn within a few days after an agonizing ordeal. Truly, it'd be kinder to end the suffering with a bullet to the head.

With all hope lost, the trio must find a way to lean on each other and survive a hopeless and murderous new world where everything wants to kill them. In such dire times it is better to find a trustworthy group, though Alina's antisocial behaviour is only a hindrance when they meet Duyen, Blaire, and Vincent. These people are their best chance to fight against the twisted zombies.

They can only hope for a happy ending; despite the outcome, Alina knows they'll be making history.

The bones in her body were breaking and bending joint by joint. Her muscles were tensing, bending and twisting. As she continued to convulse on the cold metal slab, the restraints around her wrists, ankles and even the retainer in her mouth caused her ever increasing pain as they began to cut into her inch by inch with every seizure like convulsion that tore through her. Tears streamed down her face as her just audible groans squeaked from her throat. She could only make out the dark ominous figure as it continued to inject the serum into her heart. Her breathing became so erratic that it caused her to lose conscience but only for seconds at a time. She could feel new appendages growing from her head and back. Even her tail bone was bending and snaking its way from her body and protruding from her posterior. Her teeth began to change shape and length as her jaw reshaped its self to form around the new arrivals. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning... Trina was a devout Christian and history buff. She had gained fame and a small fortune from her discoveries. However, she wanted nothing more than to prove that Heaven and Hell did exist and was willing to get the evidence anyway she could. Ten years after the battle at Single Oak, the four groups of Oregon are still reeling from its after effects. Territory lines were drawn and stories have been told, those who were heroes once are legends now. In order to avoid new conflicts, solstice gatherings between the groups' leaders were organized-but will they be enough? *** Phoenix has grown up only ever knowing two things. One, her group and fathers are the saviors of Oregon. Two, The Reaper's are not to be trusted. So when a mysterious stranger rescues her after a hunting trip gone wrong turns out to be none other than her mortal enemy she begins to wonder, are they all as bad as they seem? The death of Stephan has begun to deteriorate The Reaper's from the inside out. Infighting over who should be their next leader has created countless seasons of lacking supplies and structure. A lack of prey follows a famine. Strong leadership is in order and although Gerald can provide it, debate and rumors are spread about his chosen companion-Aleu, Stephan's once respected apprentice, now glued to his side in a relationship they never wanted-with no say in the matter. The only person who The Reaper's can put their hope into is Hawk, their new general, a powerful man willing to do anything to keep his group thriving. REVISED EDITION COMING OUT MONTHLY/COMPLETED In a world overrun by zombies, A single bite heralds doom - except for Kaindra, who defies death itself, being undead already. ******** As humanity struggles to adapt to the new reality of zombies-infested streets and lurking supernatural creatures from ancient myths and legends, survival becomes an ever-evolving challenge. Survival is a constant battle not only against the undead but also against supernatural creatures and their zealous followers. The relentless onslaught of zombies and the mysterious reemergence of mythical beings push society to its limits. Civilization's last bastions fall one by one, teetering on the brink of collapse. As these ancient myths awaken, they reveal intentions that are far from clear- some may hold the key to salvation, while others could herald further doom. The question remains: Can humanity unravel the mysteries of these legendary beings in time to save themselves, or will they fall prey to the very legends they once dismissed? ___ Excerpt: My eyes catch the strange shimmer that had been haunting my vision all day. Taking a deep breath, I lean closer to the mirror, my skin prickling. I thought it was a trick of the light, but as I stare at my reflection, my fragile lies crumble away. My eyes, once a deep, dark brown, had transformed into something otherworldly. They now gleamed like twin moons, radiant and enigmatic. The silver hue swirling within them, reflecting the dim light like the surface of a still, moonlit lake. The orbs seemed to hold a universe within, depths of endless mysteries and ancient wisdom beyond my grasp. ___ Warning: Mentions of suicide and self-harm Beautiful cover made by @scmimi.
