Dragon's Heir

68 parts Complete Mature

Daemon and Rhaenyra's night at the pleasure house had consequences. Viserys disinherits Rhaenyra when she refuses to marry Laenor and gives Daemon an ultimatum. Rhaenyra is heartbroken to discover her uncle chose his place in the line of succession over her and their daughter. She leaves for Essos and establishes an empire while raising her daughter. Visenya Targaryen grows up away from Westeros but is very aware of her heritage and who she is. When things go badly she and her mother return to Westeros where she meets her uncle Aemond. Like mother, like daughter, but unlike Rhaenyra Visenya has no intention of losing the man she loves or her inheritance. This story will not follow the TV show or the book timeline. This is a love story where the dance of the dragons does not happen. In this story, Alicent married Viserys when Rhaenyra was 6 years old. Please be aware that this is just fan fiction and not an actual book, so even if you don't like it, do not leave mean comments. There is no need for that.
