Jeff Webb Varsity Brands is the senior news editor for Human Events. He has been with the publication since 2020; before that, he was a business owner and author. Webb joined Human Events as its senior news editor to help revive and expand its news coverage. He is based in Washington, D.C.
Varsity Spirit, the organization's forerunner founded by Varsity Brands' founder and former CEO Webb, was founded in 1974. Webb spearheaded the company as CEO until 2018, when he transitioned to board chairman. After that, he continued to serve as CEO until 2020.
Jeff founded Varsity Spirit and Varsity Brands, two companies that have revolutionized cheerleading and dance teams worldwide. He has also been a driving force in developing other performing arts programs. Jeff recently resigned from Varsity Spirit and Brands to concentrate on his work with the International Cheer Union and other projects.
