I love this album so much that I accidentally wrote a musical inspired by the songs. This will be written more in a very detailed script writing than an actual story. Asher and Sam have been best friends since middle school. When you're the only two queer kids at your small conservative Texas school, you stick together. This story starts on the last day of senior year, where they meet someone named Jasmine, who has just come out as pansexual and nonbinary. Jasmine has always had a huge crush on Asher, but so has Sam. And Asher... is a confused mess. Follow their story of how these two try to purse their dreams of becoming musicians and if that dream is lost from a screwed up love triangle.
Trigger warnings: bullying, sexual assault, queer slurs used as insults
My dream is to make this a real musical, but I have to get permission from Waterparks to use their music. If this story gains a lot of attention, maybe they'll notice and we can work something out. I hope you enjoy!!
