Bumble? Been there. Hinge? Done that. Tinder? I'm pretty sure I'm banned. Amalia Sandoval-Higgins questions just why she's been there and done that. After many (failed) attempts of striking up a fire with who she thinks is the one, she just can't seem to get things right, let alone get a swipe right. She looks through her messages, and sees her numerous double texts ends up with never ending dull-spoken replies. After an epiphany, and a couple tears, she stays away from online romance and decides she wants to find love organically. Only problem is... how and who? Maybe her boss she had a crush on when she was an intern? Or maybe the Barista that gave her the wrong coffee? Maybe the nice guy from the office who really isn't that nice? Or maybe she could try her luck with the man she nearly ran over with her car. She's lucky he didn't end up dead.

A writer and a stuck-up Australian movie star are both running out of chances to break into Hollywood. All they have to do to get their foot in the door is force themselves through a cheesy reality TV dating show. The universe has other plans. *** SHAYNE BENNETT dreams of becoming a writer in Hollywood, but Hollywood isn't exactly rolling out the red carpet. Moving from gig to gig, Shayne's desperate for a break. He's got a roommate who may be a serial killer, a sister who thinks she can take down Starbucks, and parents who practically have PhD's in dream-crushing. As he reluctantly joins the production team of the trashy dating show 'Unfiltered,' he wonders if this could be his foot in the door. OLIVER HENDERSON is the swoon-worthy Australian star of the show. He's not here for love, but an opportunity at a big break of his own. Torn between what's expected of him, and what he actually wants; Oliver's not sure how he'll fake his way through it. SPARKS catch them both off guard, each of them an unexpected distraction for the other. As the line between reality and reality TV starts to blur, will they stick to the script or follow their hearts? [COMPLETE: 100,000+ words]
