Once upon a time, a catastrophic event caused a mutation in a certain group of humans, and over time, whenever the full moon rose, these humans would spontaneously transform into werewolves, ravaging anything in their path. For centuries, these werewolf families reproduced, leaving behind generations. However, one day, this werewolf bloodline was cut short after humans took control against slaughtering the families of werewolves.
After the massacre, peace had returned and these humans went on to build a city, known as Unity City. Even so, after an influx of immigrants, werewolf sightings had become common amongst the population, and hunters were deployed to deal with the threats. With werewolves disguising as humans, hunters were trained to distinguish traits of a "disguised human." With tensions rising in Unity City, the clan of werewolves began to plot a coup d'etat.
Derion, the son of the clan leader, opposes this plot, joining sides with his closest friend, Sylvie, a human girl, the daughter of a powerful hunter. After siding with the enemy, he gets his family killed, leaving his evil cousin, Ariston to escape the city, building an army to take revenge. As a werewolf, Derion is advised against bonding with humans. Even so, he still does, even falling in love with one.
Still, how long could he suppress his killing urges?
Nala would do anything for her sister Cami, even cover up the murder of the visiting Alpha's cousin. She did everything right, buried the body, burnt her clothes, and got rid of every trace of blood in the house but what if someone saw her?
After receiving a note which threatened to reveal her secrets, Nala knew she had no choice but to go into hiding. But how long can you hide from werewolves?
After Nala and Cami were captured, they knew it was over, the Alpha would show them no mercy. After all, he is one of the most vicious and feared werewolf in the country.
So why is he hesitating?
