Walking out of the front door is quite refreshing seeing all the birds flying through the trees, the trees swaying, an arrow flying towards you, and the little animals scurrying from tree to tree. Wait an arrow? I quickly dodge out of the way as it zooms past my head and lodges itself into the door behind me.
I look back into the tree line and see some rustling that doesn't seem to be caused by tiny creatures. I look past it and pretend I didn't see anything and walk towards a tree that has a big knot in its trunk. It's great for climbing so I use it to get a higher advantage point. I hide in the leaves as I scout the direction of where the arrow came in. Climbing from tree to tree, hiding in the leaves, I circle to where the arrow was shot from. Finding who shot the arrow and getting behind them to jump on their back.

Your father had left after you where born since he had a child with a human but your mother died when giving birth to you as he took you and left you in Lothlórien, you lived with Galadriel and Celeborn when he left learning various skills of fighting and some of the common tongue but it wasn't your strong point. you wanted to see the world as you where packing your things in your chambers strapping your belt on that had your sword and daggers in a X shape at the back, you dressed in gear that would do for travelling and fighting, you wore the tall knee high boots and hidden daggers in them, and put the arrow holder once your shoulder then wore your dark cloak that was elven made so it protect you. Strong, skilled in magic and bound by the will of his ruthless farther, the prince successfully captures the young Mirkwood prince. But the mission soon becomes a battle of conscience. Torn between his father's commands and his growing empathy for the captive, the prince grapples with the darkness in his heart and an unexpected connection begins to form between him and Legolas. Though just slightly older, they are more alike than either would have guessed. Set against a backdrop of snow, ancient magic and conflicted hearts, the lines between enemies and allies blurs. -------------- This story will follow an unnamed elven prince in first person perspective, there will be some mentions of clothes or hair color but other than that, he is for self insertion. The story is almost done but I will update chapters over time. Triggering situations will be pointed out, with the concrete triggers put in a list before each chapter. Even though this story is about Legolas, there will not be any more details on the fellowship or the main story of Lord of the rings. This is story is going to be slow burning.
