Mia Ramirez was a seventeen year old teenager from Lakewood, Colorado who's smile shined brighter than the sun. She always seemed to have such a positive energy around anyone she was with. That was until her life took a huge turn on her and she fell into the darkness. Her once happy go lucky attitude disappeared taking that Mia with her and leaving behind a girl who was filled with sadness. A sadness that consumed her life. The once straight A and B student stopped attending school and became the straight F student. Her parents, who tried so hard to reach out to their daughter finally realized how bad she was suffering. She needed a fresh start where she wouldn't have to be reminded of things that made her feel empty. So that's when they decided to send her to a Boarding school in Huntington Beach, California. Sending her off to this school is what they'd hope would give her a fresh start to her senior year of high school. It'll give her new opportunities, hopefully give her new friends she can grow comfortable with. They hope she can break out of the darkness and reveal herself to the light above it, and bring back the old Mia who they desperately want to grasp onto once again.
