Since 2008 I had been posting my opinions at online discussion boards. In late 2020 I started a blog called The Other Liberal as my own space to write longer more reflective pieces. These posts cover the period from December 2020 to March 2022. Some are abstract while others are more topical. Race is often dealt with, because unlike many Liberals I'm a working-class black man. I believe that Liberalism despite its shortcomings is still the best politics to ensure a freer and more livable America for all. To me that means a fair economy built on shared prosperity that benefits working people as well as the wealthy and huge corporations. Furthermore no one should be excluded from that prosperity because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. To me individual liberty is the equal right to every American. Whether you agree or disagree keep that in mind as you read these pieces that give a definition of Liberalism, deal with the poor, labor unions, Conservatives, the working class, and race.

"You had no right to not tell me that you are pregnant" Mr. Owens screamed and my eyes widened. He knew. This can't be happening. He was the last person that I wanted to find out. "I don't think that's any of your business" I said and turned on my heels ready to leave but he wrapped his hand around my wrist making it completely impossible for me to leave. I tried to wiggle out of his grip but it was useless. He was way stronger than me which was no surprise at all because based on his toned body he had to work out a lot. -"It is my business when I'm the father of that fucking baby" he said angry and it was easy to tell he is trying to control his anger. "You're not the father" I stated and I knew that he could tell that I was lying. -"Why are you lying? Isn't this what you wanted? A fucking billionaire as your baby's father?" he was trying to provoke me. And it worked. Did he seriously thing that I'm a gold digger and that I did this on purpose? Because with his assumption he couldn't have been more wrong. He didn't know yet that this baby is never going to be born. "No that's not what I want. The only thing I want is for you to stay out of my life" I shouted and tried once again to get out of his grip. But once again without success. -"I won't stay out of your life when I know my heir is growing inside of you" he said and raised his voice as well. "Well not for long" I mumbled under my breath and I thought only I could hear it but apparently I was wrong because based on his reaction he understood what I said. And let me tell you he wasn't pleased at all. -"You're not going to get an abortion" he said. Does he seriously think he can tell me what and what not to do? Because then he was wrong. "Oh yes I am" I stated matter of factly ... P.S: The comment section is a mess so be prepared [Started: 01-03-2017] [Ended: 04-27-2018] © 2017 kiki60102 Cover by @mahgadahling

A 14 year French boy finds himself stuck in the grasp of the United States. In this war between the US, the people, and himself, he must find a way to protect his brothers and the love of his life, Amber, the daughter of the US president. Are these two willing to fight for each other? Are they willing to fight for the rights of the people? These two are tied together in a boundless war, and they aren't willing to give up that easily. Entomon Book 1 Warning: Mild swearing, violence, underage smoking, mention of drug use, immigration conflict, mention of overdose, depicts of su!cide This book takes time to represent various people. It mentions gay rights, trans rights, women's rights, mental health rights, religious rights, and many more. This book includes lots pf diversity because every person should deserve to see themselves represented in the books they read. This book is inspired by the various political debates I've seen from the 2024 election. This is futuristic America, where white straight Christian (or Catholic) men are prized above everyone else. I wrote this because I think other voices deserve to be heard and people should see what their arguments do to those it's directed to. Why do white men get to control women's bodies? Why don't gay people deserve the same kind of treatment as straight people? This book shows that diverse people are just as important. Please do not take this book too seriously. This book is not to be targeted to America, this book is not targeted to those who may be white, straight, or Christian. This book is simply here to represent those who don't fit those liked standards. This book is not to dump on the republican party, this book does not mainly focus on politics but rather people's reasons for their political debates. Treat every living person with kindness, each person deserves to be represented and loved.
