After the battle against Harumi and her gang, Ninjago was in safe hands once again. But the fear of the looming question stood still. Was Lord Garmadon back? The Ninja, a group of 6 friends, found out what had happened. Harumi had half succeeded in bringing Garmadon back, bringing him back home as his normal sensei self. A few years after the reunion of Sensei Garmadon back to the monastery with the Ninja, some of the team decided that they were ready to have a family outside of Ninja duties and between missions. Sometime, a call about an abandoned building had light coming from one of the 10 story floors, showing suspicious activity. The building itself used to be a laboratory, and used as a secret base for suspicious people. Lloyd, the Green Ninja, and the rest of the team had been called to investigate this building and retain any suspects. As for Cole, well, after all those incidents, for some reason, now he feels even MORE separated from the team and doesn't know why. Ever since Cole went through the rift of the Yin blade back in Day of the Departed, he thinks everything with him is back to normal. But just in, Ninjago City is in great danger and the ninja now have to face a new enemy. That enemy wants Cole himself. Cole discovers something disturbing that's the going on with his family. It causes issues with his father, master and his friends at the same time. And during the adventure with Kai and Nya (HoT), Cole discovered a new power inside of him. It was powerful. He liked it, it helped the ninja a lot. Cole was stronger than he ever was before. And now he's their biggest target ..... In this story, Cole must face the Queen of Ghouls, otherwise the Realm of Ninjago will fall into the hands of Evil...
