Before I begin I want to say that this book will never be finished because I am leaving it where it is at and probably now coming back to add or edit anything in this story

A lonely girl left on her own to survive until everything gets out of control for her. One decision, to take what was supposed to be a wonderful walk in the forest that she had become accustomed to from the start of her life, turns drastically for the better? Or the worst?
In a world where supernatural and humans get along and live everyday life alongside each other.
Amber Star, is alone in the world from the start, but hopefully not for much longer. She has lost all hope in ever finding the one for her after what happened, she is slowly shutting herself away from others, not that they notice, until one event flips her world upside down.
Not too far away from where Amber's small woodland village is King Alpha Max. He is the king of the werewolves and is highly respected among the humans and supernatural but his only downfall is that he hasn't found his mate yet. He is traveling around the country to try and find his mate before he has to make the decision to have a chosen mate. (A chosen mate is where 2 people who can not find their own mate, choose each other to be with for eternity.)
This story belongs to me. If you find any book that has a similar plot I promise I haven't stolen anyone's work. I might have read other books that have similar ideas and made them into my own by changing bits to make it fit my story.

It hasn't even been an hour, and a crowd has gathered at our doors. What do you want me to do? The people love you. The soldiers respect you. The only members of the clan you need to win over are the stuffed shirts and with what your brother just pulled? You're as good as gold." "You wanted this to happen." I accuse him, and he shrugs. "Want? No. Expect? Yes. Your brother is more concerned with holding his mothers dress than leading his people... but by all means, if you have a plan to make him a worthy ruler, lay it out for me, Captain." He must get out before the human does something he might regret. It might be too late already, but he refuses to let his human kill what little chance he might have with this she-wolf.
