The Calming Storm

Mateo was always cautious, collected, and secretive for reasons. While discovering himself after coming out and getting thrown out to his family for not only loving men, but also no longer identifying as Cathleen, he finds the comfort of Cyrus's attention soothing as Cyrus is the only one that accepts Mateo. The only problem is that Cyrus was meant to be the target of Mateo's adventuring group. Will the wolf be able to keep protecting the bat or will the bat fall?
