Mutters break out amoungst the crowd.

She draws two names.

"No! I volunteer! " my best friend yells into the crowd.

Katniss is obviously worried about Primrose. And would do anything to protect her.

Three members from district 12 have to tribute in the #74 annual Hunger Games. When your best friend contributes, you realize how bad that could be. Seeing as there can only be one winner.

What made it worse was that your crush, Peeta Mellark, was chosen as tribute as well.

Authors note: I literally rewatched the first movie and loved the dynamic of Katniss and Peeta. But I know there are people who like Peeta and lowkey wanna be Katniss.
