When Daisy Lanely first saw Lucas Emerson she knew there was something different about him. Not different in the sense that he's some type of glittering vampire, or fallen angel, but different in a way that makes him stand out among the other students at Carolina High. 
He wasn't a jock, or a bad boy, and he certainly didn't grasp for attention. In fact, like Daisy, he was sort of a wallflower.
And maybe that's what drew the two together one day.
