The Prophecy
Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. After a family tragedy, she moves to a new town, and she gets her first chance to at least pretend to be 'normal.' For the first time, she's allowed to leave the house and go to an actual school. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. He has other things to contend himself with, in reality - in the waking world. His most prized possession is gone. A story book that means the world to him is lost within the forests - or worse, someone has their hands on it. The Shadow Play
In a world, the people are all blessed with powers or magic of their own at the age of 15. But it depends on what they have doing in life. Six friends were blessed with magic of their own, and they go to the School of Magic to learn how to control their powers/magic. They learn about the Pillars, who were the first ever people to gain powers or magic, and they were told to find out more information about them. But they realise that they have vanished a thousand years ago, making their research harder as there wasn't much information about them after their disappearance. It was then one of them decided to bring them back after learning what happened to them. Will they bring them back? Or will the darkness win the battle? Notes: Now obviously, this story isn't real, and some of them might be unrecognisable with each other, and well thats because they have not met yet. Switch Roshadian Citizen Papers with my best friend, go to the Royal Ball in her place, and then disappear for a year while Val takes her hero complex to the Border with my army summons. Easy enough, right? Yeah, who were we kidding. So now on top of hiding my ability to use magic, an offense punishable by death, I'll also be thieving the identity of an upper - an offense also punishable by death.
