Not once did Julia ever imagine the downhill path she would have to, unfortunately, endure lingering just ahead of her-the downfall of society when the infected started to overrun the modern world.

On a gloomy day, with a storm pulling in from a distance, Julia is lucky enough to seek sanctuary for the night in an un-looted house located in a deserted town. Julia's luck seems to run thin whenever a commotion erupts in her vicinity in the house she believed to be alone. Julia is pinned in the house with two strangers who introduce themselves as Soap and Ghost. Soap offers for Julia to come back to their base camp with them after she falls and sprains her foot, and since then, Ghost is nothing more than an asshole to Julia.
