Velisity Valharia is ready to break the fourth wall with a hammer of deceit. The extraterrestrial's hammer is a twin-sided sledgehammer. On one side, she’s a narcissistic Machiavellian only seeking personal gain. On the other, she’s a narcissistic Machiavellian only seeking personal gain. Obviously, there’s a functional problem with this hammer. Velisity’s reason for even being on the cosmically segregated planet that is Earth is to relinquish an ancient entity that’s infused within her. Earth just happens to be a convenient place to do so because this where she conducts her research, studying the progression of humanity. She believes It’s easier on the ears of humanity to be called a researcher rather than a harbinger of possible destruction. Velisity also believes it’s easier on the eyes of humanity to be in an absurdly attractive human form while being called a researcher, giving off the nerdy-hot-alien-that's-curiously-relatable-to-humans look. The eyes and ears focused on her are billions of people tuning in to her interviews. US President Julio Ortega just so happens to dislike Velisity. He feels that she's challenging what it means to be human and challenging the notion of ignorance is bliss. He has a hard enough time dealing with his administration's 15% approval rating. The last thing he needs is a woman going around claiming she's studying humanity like lab rats. So, he covertly hires a band of mercenaries who won't hesitate to kill the innocent if the price is right. If the assassination attempt succeed, Earth will be safe from Velisity's true intentions. If she lives, Earth may implode and be split into two like an overcooked pie due to the sheer force of the entity being relinquished. Which lesser evil will win? Velisity comes in peace. She promises.
