It's year 2191, on Pandora. Lo'ak and Tsireya mated and had children, a daughter, Lei'wan, and then a son, Tse'hay.
Lei'wan has always lived in the reef, with her parents and extended family. Lo'ak decides to take his children and Tsireya to the forest, to make them discover his birthplace. Lei'wan rapidly adapts to the way of the Omatikaya and falls in love with the forest, but, soon, she and her family discover that some things have changed on Pandora.
The Omatikaya and other forest tribes have signed a peace treaty with the Sky People, that contains a counterpart : Na'vi people have to let humanity install itself on the planet, and, if they don't, the threat of a massive genocide prowls around them...
