Neglected flowers wilt

This is a story of a single mother who raised eight children in a four-bedroom apartment in the Bronx, New York. The mother had two abusive partners, including a lesbian partner who sold cocaine, which made it challenging for the children to feel the love and support of a mother. The eight children shared rooms and eventually grew apart, leading to no real connection between them.

The story follows the struggles and challenges faced by the children as they grew up in an environment of abuse and neglect.
