Jane is not the type of person to give up whenever rejection is at her front door. Before the infamous WAF movement in 1948, women were not allowed to join the Arm Forces except in the medical field. When Jane finally sees her opportunity to reach her dream of becoming the first woman to join the Air Force, rejection comes her way. That doesn't stop her. She changes her appearance. Although risky, she accepts the challenge and fights.
