For West Parker, life's too predictable. The only thing that got him into a prestigious school for rich kids were his grades.
For Clay Gates, life's too boring and 18 isn't as exciting as it sounds, untill a boy transfered to Shelby high who wasn't a rich prick. In trying to make friends (or more) with West, he makes enemies instead.
After a final brawl, the boys start to realize they've got more in common then they thought they did. Learning more about each other and themselves in the process of surviving the rest of high school.
