"Kendra..." he took a deep breath trying to clear his head. He had come here to say goodbye, to cut ties amicably without causing her any more pain than he already had. "How could you even consider anything after what I did..." "It wasn't your fault." Her voice was soft, trying to keep their conversation private from the rest of the cafe. His eyes shot to the coffee mug in his hand, he knew he would lose his composure if he looked at her. "I shouldn't have been driving." "Austin." She sighed, her voice pleading for him to listen to her. "I was over." "And he ran a red." She snapped back quickly, leaning in to the table closer to him. "I should have seen him coming, I should have been able to avoid it." "Austin it was an accident, they happen. No one blames you." He took a steadying breath. Maybe, maybe there was a chance he could accept that part. "And the rest. You really think that wasn't my fault?" ******* Eighteen months ago one drink had changed his life. Twelve months ago too many drinks had shaken what was left of his life and bought it crashing to the ground. He had been waiting for this chance for twelve months, trying to slowly rebuild his life for this very opportunity. Now it's here, is he strong enough to seize it for the miracle it is?

Holi turns to look at him, and she feels what's left of her breath disintegrate from her lungs. Austin is standing by her side, illuminated by the moon's silver shadow. He's lovely to look at, magical almost. The silver shadow dusts his strong shoulders and chest, casting a silver aura around his head. She would be forgiven for thinking that it looks like he is wearing a full suit of metal, a knight in shining armor. Holi wants to touch and honestly with Austin looking like he does right now in this moonlight, she can't be blamed. She turns her body to face him and takes a step forward placing her hands on his pecks then sliding them slowly up and slipping them around to the nape of his neck, marveling at how hard his body is in contrast to how soft and smooth his skin is. She keeps a firm grip on his nape. Touching him, pulling his body close to hers, breathing him in, and letting herself feel him beneath her palms: it grounds her. Makes her feel like she can open her soul and let him see everything. She feels safe with him. "You remind me of a shooting star." She watches Austin frown at her words then turn his head to look at her, confusion set heavy on his face. "How so?" he asks Holi looks at him for a beat longer then turns her head to look up at the stars again. "Because I would spend all my wishes on you, Austin."
