This somewhat slowburn story details two rulers who both experience hardships getting in the way of their love.
Cross, as heir to the throne, becomes king after his father's death. His kingdom is enemy to a nearby kingdom-the kingdom full of negativity and hatred, the ruler's brother kept away ill from the darkness that is slowly burning at his once robust body. But alas, that doesn't concern Cross and his love interest from risking everything to achieve a love life with his supposed foe.
