Ana and Him - EN edition
June 12, Friday. Ana, a young woman from São Paulo, is in Recife for work, facing a dilemma that leaves her terrified. In a beachfront hotel, under a beautiful moon, she reflects on how her life has been turned upside down in the last thirty days. Ana is solitary but has Luana, her friend of eight years since their tech college days, as a constant companion. Luana, with her stunning skin and strong personality, is always at her apartment, sharing wine and advice, like telling Ana she needs to have more fun (and sex). They both work at the same company, which has them traveling daily, though they can work from anywhere with a computer. Ana describes her family: her parents in the countryside, her talkative father and practical mother, and her twin brothers, Bruno and Daniel, who rarely contact her. Back in Recife, Ana considers the possibility of living there for six months at the end of the year, which triggers her current problem. The wind and her thoughts swirl as she tries to understand what has recently changed her life.
