Darkness crept around me and smothered me like a blanket. I heard the rusted hinged creak behind me and I stumbled forward. A fowl stench rushed towards me; a mix between dampness and fear. The icy air pricked my skin as the moon showed itself though the bared windows lighting up the cell.
