As yet another school year comes to an end Cassie Chambers, a Pogue living on the Cut of Kildare Island, is determined to have a summer to remember... that is if she can juggle her moms illness, blackmail from a superior, and a secret that threatens to rob her of her dignity. When the summer seems over before it has even begun unexpected events begin to unfold and there is nothing Cassie can do to stop the tropical storm that is about to hit her life.
