"Are you the victim of a paranormal phenomenon? Have ghosts roamed your halls? Have you accidentally slipped through the fabric of time itself, only to be denied compensation by your insurance company? While we can't fix insurance-based corruption, we sure as hell can find that rip in the space-time continuum and maybe put a rug over it or something." AKA: In the small town of Hermitville, Cub and Scar run an odd job service relating to anything magical or paranormal. It goes about as well as you'd expect. (A series of short sort of connected oneshots filled with purely shenanigans, don't expect an overarching story lol) Cross posted on AO3 under Cookietron38

Hermit City is a city of heroes and villains, and Grian is one of its most reliably factual and truthful reporters. So reliable, in fact, that the Heroes' Association values him and his reports enough that they assigned him a bodyguard: HotGuy himself! Grian and Scar have been doing this for years, now, and their relationship is more than just that of bodyguard and charge. It might even be more than just a friendship! Their time to explore and find out what they are to each other is cut short when Grian starts investigating the famous Pearl Moon case, and Scar isn't there to protect him.
