Before you can even process this bizarre reunion, you and your dad are victims of an attempted kidnapping, you being rescued by 4 mutant turtle brothers, who offer to help you find your father. As you get to know them better, you find yourself drawn into their world while trying to understand what's going on with your memories. Little do you know, there's more to your connection with these heroes than meets the eye. Eventual MC x Donatello relationship. A remake of Donatello and April's original relationship dynamic, but slow burned and unrushed, so they can build a true friendship before discovering that either of them have feelings for the other. --------------- I always felt like Donnie crushin' on April in the show was a bit off, especially 'cause she never felt the same way and it felt kind of forced. Chatted with my sis 'bout this ongoing plot in the series, and it hit me - the show could've been way cooler if April and Donatello had a tighter connection, giving 'em both the character development they deserved. Figured I had nothin' to lose, so this's what came outta that chat. Hope you dig it! First time putting words on paper, fingers crossed it ain't too shabby. Plus, English isn't my first language, so sorry if the phrasing is a bit off. Just in case, I'll mention neither TMNT 2012 or the fanart used for the cover are mine. yes, I wanted to make my own TMNT x reader one-shots, I got bored and just really like tmnt, no there will not be t-cest, I'm not comfortable with making that kind of stuff especially because their brothers, and to me that's wrong, but that's my personal thoughts so sorry if you don't like reading my stories after knowing that. If there is trigger warnings or warnings in general on my one-shots please read them through you might not understand why it's there unless you read the warning, and some warnings may be short and some may be long, like there will be angst, possible self harm?
